Do you offer the full range of payroll services?

At Payplus we offer every aspect of managed payroll services, but we also appreciate that not all clients will require a full service, so we’re happy to do as much or as little as you’d like us to.

Will we have a personal contact?

Because we know schools and payroll inside out, we know how important it is for you to know there is someone who understands your unique situation and is there for you when you need help.  It’s for this reason that we appoint a personal payroll expert to you as soon as you decide to work with us.

Is the price you quote the price we’ll pay?

When it comes to setting the price for your work, we know only too well that it’s essential to get it right.  It’s for this reason that we work on a fixed fee basis, with no hidden charges and no nasty surprises.  Add to this, the fact that our goal is to be cheaper than an accountant or other high profile schools payroll provider and you’ll see why more and more people are choosing Payplus.

If we’re switching to Payplus will you liase with the Local Education Authority (LEA) on our behalf?

No matter whether you’re switching from the LEA or another payroll provider, we’ll work with them during the switch-over process.  Because we have over 30 years of experience in payroll and YYY in dealing with schools payroll, we’ve successfully transferred ZZZ clients from both the LEA and other payroll providers.

We have staff with different pay grades, scales and pension arrangements, will you manage all of their different situations?

At Payplus we know school payroll like the back of our hand, and because of this, we know that most schools have staff with different grades, scales and salaries, as well as members of either the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS) or the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).  Thanks to our experience in the school sector, we take this in our stride, making sure we work accurately and on time, every time.

We have very specific management reporting requirements; can you cater for such situations?

Once again, because we understand that no two schools are the same and reporting requirements differ from school to school, we’ll work with you to identify precisely the reports you need and the frequency with which you need them.

How secure is our data?

Do you provide assurances or guarantees?

We benefit from AAA insurance which means BBB.  What’s more, we provide a CCC guarantee.

What happens if I have a problem?

If you have a payroll problem, your first port of call is your appointed payroll expert.  In the unlikely event that you have a problem that they cannot resolve, we have a management team who’s job it is to make sure your payroll goes without a hitch, every time, and that’s what they’ll do.
